Mountain Biking Programme:
Cycling in the African climate is challenging, hot
and dusty, but for the enthousiast an opportunity
not te be missed. Experiencing the people and their
culture is easily done in a very unintrusive manner.
Cycling affords you the opportunity to experience
all the smells and bells ! Africa as it really is.

- Half day or full day rides
These rides take you around the local area of Arusha
and will start from your hotel/lodge. Rides could
include cycling through coffee plantations, villages
set amongst bananas and cultivated areas or out
in dryer Masai regions.
- Two day trip
A fly camp is set up out in a Masai area and the
route takes you either around the northern side
of Mt. Meru or around towards the west heading to
the Monduli mountain ranges. A night at a Masai
boma gives you some insight to the cultural ways
of these people.
- Three days onwards
These also involve fly camps either set up alongside
Masai homesteads or simply out in the bush. You
may also reach villages and so be able to stay at
campsites.
Longer trips can link in with a game viewing safari
in which case you will be met either at Mto wa Mbu
village, or go on towards Lake Natron and Ol Doinyo
Lengai.
